Cory Sarich is a Canadian defenseman on the Calgary Flames.
Sarich was drafted in the 2nd round in 1996 by Buffalo. He played 46 games over 2 seasons with the Sabres before being moved to Tampa Bay. In 2001-02, he began a streak of consecutive games which would not end until March 1, 2008. He won the Stanley Cup with Tampa Bay in 2004, ironically beating his current team in the Finals. He joined the Flames in 2007.
Sarich won a gold medal with Team Canada at the 1997 World Junior Championships.
