Milan Jurcina is a Slovak defenseman on the New York Islanders.

Jurcina was drafted by Boston in 2001, and spent the next few seasons playing in the QMJHL and the AHL, with the Providence Bruins. He joined the Bruins in 2005-06, and played two seasons, before being traded to the Capitals at the 2007 trade deadline. He played a career high 79 games in 2008-09, logging around 16 minutes of ice time a game. He also scored a career high 14 points that season, helping the Caps reach the playoffs where they were eliminated by the Pittsburgh Penguins. In 2009-10, Jurcina's game seemed to decline a bit, and he saw limited ice time and was eventually traded for Jason Chimera of the Columbus Blue Jackets. He scored 3 points in 17 games for the Blue Jackets and signed with the Islanders as a free agent during the 2010 offseason.

Jurcina played for Slovakia at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
