Viktor Kozlov

Viktor Kozlov is a Russian center on the Washington Capitals.

Kozlov was drafted in the first round of the 1993 NHL Draft by San Jose, after playing a number of seasons in the Russian SuperLeague with Dynamo Moscow. Kozlov played in San Jose until 1997, when he was traded to Florida. Kozlov had the best season of his career in Florida in 1999-00, when he scored 17 goals and 53 assists for 70 points. In 2004, he was traded to New Jersey, where he played two seasons. In 2006-07, he spent a season with the Islanders, and signed with Washington in 2007. In the 2007-08 season, he scored 16 goals and totaled 54 points.

Kozlov played for Russia at the 1991 and 1992 European Junior Championships and the 1993 World Junior Championships. He then played at the 1996, 1998, 2000 and 2005 World Championships, along with the 2004 World Cup and 2006 Winter Olympics.
