Chris Mason is a Canadian goalie on the Atlanta Thrashers.

Mason was drafted by New Jersey in 1995. he was dealt to Nashville before making his NHL debut. Mason saw limited playing time over his first four seasons, but was impressive in 2006-07, winning 24 of 40 starts, with a 2.38 GAA and a .925 save percentage. He was traded to St. Louis in the 2008 offseason, and turned in a couple of very solid seasons with the Blues. He posted a 2.41 GAA and 27 wins in 2008-09, and won 30 games in 2009-10. When the Blues traded for standout netminder Jaroslav Halak, Mason was traded to Atlanta, where he will compete for the starting job with Ondrej Pavelec.
