Eric Brewer is a Canadian defenseman on the St. Louis Blues.

Brewer was drafted by the New York Islanders in 1997, and broke into the NHL the following season. He was traded to Edmonton in 2000, and spent the next four seasons with the Oilers. After the lockout he was signed by the St. Louis Blues, and is one of the team’s top defensemen. Brewer matched his career high in points with 29 in 2006-07, and had 22 points and 91 penalty minutes in 2007-08.

Brewer has won multiple gold medals with Team Canada. In 2002, he won gold at the 2002 Olympics, the 2003, 2004 and 2007 World Hockey Championships and the 2004 World Cup in Toronto. He also played at the 1998 World Junior Championships, and the 2001 and 2002 World Hockey Championships.
