Jordin Tootoo
Jordin Tootoo is a Canadian right winger on the Nashville Predators.
Tootoo was drafted in 2001 by Nashville, becoming the first player of Inuit descent to play in the NHL. Tootoo set a career high with 137 penalty minutes in his rookie season of 2003-04. In the past four seasons, he has played 232 games, accumulating 408 penalty minutes and only 45 points. Tootoo has been suspended on numerous occasions, and skaters around the league have referred to him as a dirty player.
Tootoo played for Team Canada at the 2000 U-18 Four Nations tournament, where he won a gold medal. In 2003, he won a silver medal at the World Junior Championships.
