Sergei Zubov is a Russian defenseman on the Dallas Stars.
Zubov was drafted by the New York Rangers in 1990. He immediately made a name for himself as one of the premier offensive defensemen in the NHL and won his first Stanley Cup with New York in 1994. He scored 89 points that season. He was dealt to Pittsburgh in 1995, where he spent a season before being moved to Dallas.
Dallas has proven to be a great fit for Zubov. He has made three trips to the All-Star game and won a Stanley Cup in 1999. Over his career, he has accumulated 767 points and a +152 rating.
Zubov has played for Team Russia on numerous occasions, including the World Cup, the Winter Olympics and the World Championships
