Cam Barker is a Canadian defenseman on the Minnesota Wild.

Barker was drafted 3rd overall by Chicago in 2004. He played in one NHL game in 2005 before being sent back to the minors. In 2006, he played 35 games, scoring 8 points. In 2007-08, he scored 18 points in 45 games. In his first full season with the Hawks, he scored 40 points in 68 games in 2008-09, but saw his production and playing time drop dramatically with the emergence of Brent Seabrook and Duncan Keith. He was traded to Minnesota for Nick Boynton near the trade deadline, and immediately became one of the top contributing defensemen on the Wild.

Barker has won 2 gold medals with Team Canada at the World Junior Championships in 2005 and 2006.
