Jeremy Williams
Jeremy Williams is a Canadian center on the New York Rangers.
Williams was drafted in 2003 by Toronto and made his NHL debut in 2006. He scored a goal in each of his first three NHL games, all of which were in different season. He scored his first goal in 2006, before being sent back to the Toronto Marlies after one game. In February of 2007, he scored again in his first game back from the minors. He scored his third goal in his next NHL game. In 2008-09, Williams scored 5 goals and 7 points in 11 games with the Leafs, while scoring 27 goals and 40 points in the AHL for the Marlies. In 2009, he was signed by Detroit as a free agent. He never played a game for the Red Wings, spending the 2009-10 season in the AHL with the Grand Rapids Griffins and scoring 32 goals and 63 points. He was an unrestricted free agent at the end of 2009-10 as well, and he signed with the Rangers during the 2010 offseason.
