Staffan Kronwall is a Swedish defenseman on the Calgary Flames.

Kronwall is the younger brother of Red Wings’ defenseman Niklas Kronwall. He was drafted by Toronto in 2002, and saw limited playing time in his first two seasons. In 2008-09, he played in 3 games for the Washington Capitals, spending most of the season in the AHL with the Toronto Marlies and the Hershey Bears. He totaled 36 points in the AHL on the season. He made the Flames’ roster out of training camp in the 2009-10 season.

Kronwall played for Sweden at the World Junior Championships in 2002.
