Georgijs Pujacs is a professional ice hockey player who was born on June 11, 1981 in Riga, Latvian SSR. Pujacs is best known for being a defender for HC Sibir Novosibirsk, one of the major clubs in KHL or the Kontinentalen Hockey-Liga.

Pujacs started his professional career on ice back in his hometown, sometime in 1996. He was signed by HK Riga Pardaugava, where he was trained and was able to play in the East European Hockey League. After a year with the team, he was signed by HK Riga and stayed another year with the said team.

Pujacs was inactive for a single season, but soon bounced back after he was signed by the Rochester Mustangs. Incidentally, Pujacs was drafted during the 1999 NHL Entry Draft in the ninth round by the Boston Bruins. Although the Bruins did draft Pujacs, he has not yet been able to play with the NHL team.
Over the years, Pujacs has played with a number of major clubs including Elmira Jackals, HK Riga 2000, HK Dinamo Minsk, and Dinamo Riga.
