Vitali Yachmenev
Vitali Aleksandrovich Yachmenev is a professional Russian ice hockey player who was born on January 8, 1975 in Chelyabinsk, URS. Yachmenev is best known for being one of the players who was drafted during the third round of the NHL Entry Draft in 1994 by the Los Angeles Kings. Yachmenev was 59th overall.
Yachmenev is currently a right wing player of Traktor Chelyabisnk HK, although he started playing for the very same team before 1993, Yachmenev has been with several other teams throughout his career. After spending years training and preparing with his current team, Yachmenev transferred to join the North Bay Centennials. He spent two years with the team before he was drafted and chosen to play by the Los Angeles Kings. During his three years with the said team, Yachmenev was able to build up a reputation and was soon tapped by other teams such as the Nashville Predators, where he stayed for five years. After the five years were up, Yachmenev was signed by Amur Khabarovsk, but stayed with the team for only a year before joining Ak Bars Kazan for another year. he then transferred to Avangard Omsk HK, and then to HC Dynamo Moscow afterwards.
