Alexander Kharitonov

Alexander Jewgenjewitsch Kharitonov is a Russian professional ice hockey player who was born on March 30, 1976 in Moscow, Russian SFSR. Kharitonov is best known for being a left wing player of HK Rubin Tyumen, a club in the Wysschaja League. However, prior to his transfer to HK Rubin Tyumen, Kharitonov was an active player of HC Sibir Novosibirsk.

During his earlier years, Kharitonov was able to kick off his career as amember of Wjatitsch Ryazan, but was a member of the team for just a year before being signed by HC Dynamo Moscow. Kharitonov was then able to play with the said team before he was transferred to HK Lipetsk until 1996.

Kharitonov then transferred back to Dynamo Moscow from 1996 to 2000. It was in 2000 that Kharitonov was signed by the NHL Draft of the said year and was picked by the Tampa Bay Lightning during the 3rd round. He then proceeded to play for the club for a year before temporarily transferring to the New York Islanders and then returned to Avangard Omsk HK.
