Konstantin Alexeev

Konstantin Sergejewitsch Alexeev is a professional ice hockey player who is best known for being a defender for HC Sibir Novosibirsk, a popular club in the KHL or Kontinentalen-Hockey Liga. Alexeev was born on February 26, 1988 in Novosibirsk, Russian SFSR.

Alexeev’s professional career started right at his home town when he was signed by the junior team of HC Sibir Novosibirsk. He was active with the club until 2005 when he officially turned pro. He was then signed by Energia Kemerovo, where he made his professional debut as a first team player and no longer a junior. After a year with the club, Alexeev was signed by HC Sibir Novosibirsk, where he has stayed since 2005. At first, the club he played in was a part of the Russian Super League, and when the KHL was formed, the team he played in was soon a member of the said league.
