Andrei Kuteikin

Andrei Vasilyevich Kuteikin is a professional ice hockey player who is best known for being a member of the Salavat Yulaev Ufa club of the Kontinental Hockey League. Kuteykin was born on September 30, 1984 in Saratov, Russian SFSR and plays as a defender in the teams he has been a member of.

Kuteikin started his career as a member of Kristall Saratov. However, record shows that sometime between 2002 and 2005, Kuteikin was already a part of the second team of Salavat Yulaev Ufa.

His first time playing for Salavat Ufa Julajew was during the 2004-2005 season wherein he was a defender for the team. In addition, during his memorable debut season, Kuteikin was named as his team’s best defender.

One of his early memorable moments as a professional player was during the Russian Championship in 2008. This was his first ever major title in his career, as well as one of the highlights of Salavat Ufa Julajew’s season. Aside from the 2008 victory, Kuteikin was also part of the team that won the Gagarin Cup in 2011.
