Mark Fistric is a Canadian defenseman on the Dallas Stars.
Fistric was the Stars first selection in the 2004 draft, going 28th overall. He played with the Iowa Stars of the AHL in 2006-07, scoring 24 points in 80 games. His performance in the minors earned him 37 games in the 2007-08 season, and he was also named to the playoff roster for the 2008 postseason. Fistric had only 2 points in his rookie season, but finished with a +3 rating. At 6’2, 232 lbs, Fistric will continue to develop into a powerful physical presence for the Stars on the blueline.
