Joel Lundqvist is a Swedish center on Frolunda HC.
Lundqvist played for Frolunda HC for six seasons after being drafted in 2000 by Dallas. In 2002-03, he scored 37 points while accumulating 113 penalty minutes. In 2006, he split time between the Stars and their AHL affiliate in Iowa. He never played a full season in Dallas, and totaled only 26 points in 134 games with Dallas over three seasons. He returned to Frolunda for the 2009-10 season. His twin brother, Henrik, is the star goaltender on the New York Rangers.
Lundqvist represented Sweden at 4 major international tournaments and won a gold medal in the 2006 World Championships. He also won two bronze medals at the 2009 World Championships and 2000 U18 Championships.
