Vladimir Antipov is an ice hockey player from Russia. Born on January 14, 1987 in Apatity, Russia, he currently plays for Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the Kontinental Hockey League. He started by playing for Torpedo Yaroslavl in his junior years before he was drafted as the 103rd overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1996 drafts for the NHL, after which he was promoted to the senior team. He signed with the Maple Leafs in 1999 and during his stay with the team he also played with the American Hockey League and the St. John’s Maple Leaf, the ECHL with the Carolina Stingrays and the International Hockey League with the Long Beach Ice Dogs. He failed to play any games in the National hockey league and soon after he packed his bags and returned to Russia where he resigned with his former team. He remained with the team, now named Torpedo to Lokomotiv until 2006 after which he signed on with Salavat Yulaev.
