Patr Vampola
Born on January 21, 1982, in Zdar NAD Sazavou, Petr Vampola is a Czech professional ice hockey player who currently plus for the Vanguard Omsk of the Continental Hockey League. Vampola played for HC Vsetin U20 of the Czech U20 league during the 1990-2000 seasons. Vampola also played with the Czech Republic U18 team for the same season.
He remained with HC Vsetin U20 until 2004. During these times, he also played with other teams, among them HC Sumperk, HC Kladno, and HC Liberec. By the 2004-2005 seasons, he was playing with HC Liberec and HC Ceske Budejovice. He joined HC Plzen in the 2007-2008 season and Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the 2008-2009 seasons. Most recently, he was passed from Avangard Omsk to Timra of the Elitserien League in a deal that happened on May 31, 2011.
Career highlights include the Czech Extraliga championship in the 2000-2001 season. His team also won the World Championship gold Medal in the 2009-2010 season. His team also won the World Championship Medal in the 2010-2011 season.
