Russian ice hockey player Kirill Gromov is a defenseman for professional ice hockey team Amur Khabarovsk of the Kontinental Hockey League. He was born on June 23, 1990. He played for Amur-2 Khabarovsk team in the Pervaya Liga Russia -3 for the 2005-2006 season and continued playing for the team in the 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 season. He moved to join the Amur Tigers Khabarovsk in KHL in the 2008-2009 season, and then played for the Yermak Angarsk team in the Vysshaya Liga for the 2008-2009 season.
He has played in a total of four games in his career and has scored 5 assists during that time. Gromov was considered one of the newest players to watch out for in the 2008 season. Gromov entered the team with other rookies such as Evgeny Bolyakin, a Kazakhstan native and member of the junior national team.
