Andrei Mukhachev
Andrei Mukhachev is a Russian professional hockey player who plays defense for the Russian ice hockey team Avangard Omsk in the Kotinental Hockey League (KHL). He was born on July 21, 1980 in Ekaterinburg, Russia. Although he played for Russian teams since he started pro, the Nashville Predators in round 7 #210 overall draft selected Mukhachev during the 2003 NHL Drafts.
Mukhachev played for the CSKA Moscow team from 2002 to 2003, before moving to play with Chekhov Vityaz from 2006 to 2007. He played for Mytishchi Khimik from 2007 to 2008 and then played for Mytishchi Atlant for the 208-2009 season. In the same season the Russian defense also played for Kazan Ak-Bars, and continued playing with the team until the 2009-2010 seasons. By the 2010-2011 seasons Mukhachev had joined the Omsk Avangard.
He played the highest number of games in the 2002-2003 season with his stint with CSKA Moscow, where he played in a total of 50 games and scored 3 goals and 7 assists for a total of 10 points. However, the Russian player attained the highest number of points in the 2007-2008 season where he scored a total of 20 points.
