Klaus Kathan

Klaus Kathan is a German who plays professional ice hockey for EHC Munich. Kathan was born on January 7, 1977 in Bad Tolz, Germany, and plays as a striker for the DEL (Deutsche Eishockey Liga) team. Kathan is also known for being the son of Peter Kathan who is more or less considered a hockey legend, and is currently the coach of a women’s ice hockey team. Incidentally, Kathan’s brother, Peter, is also an ice hockey player for the Schwenningen Wild Wings, of the second Bundesliga.

Kathan started of his playing career in 1994, and has since then played in numerous clubs such as Adler Mannheim, DEG Metro Stars, and more.
