Youri Ziffzer

Youri Ziffzer is a Singapore born German ice hockey goalkeeper who was born on August 21, 1986. Ziffzer is currently a member of the Hannover Scorpions of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga or the German Ice Hockey League. Aside from his professional playing status, Ziffzer is also a member of the extended squad of Germany’s national team.

Although Ziffzer was born in Singapore, his family moved to Germany sometime after his birth. Ziffzer started his playing career in 2001 when he joined the youth division of Adler Mannheim. There, he was a player of the Deutsche Nachwuchsliga which is the junior division of the sport. After his time with Jung Adler Mannheim, he transferred to Eisbaren Berlin where he further honed his skills as a full professional player this time.
