Colin Murphy

Colin Murphy is a professional ice hockey player who is from Canada. Murphy was born on April 11, 1980 in Fort McMurray in Alberta, Canada, and is known for being one of the players of the Hamburg Freezers, a club which is a part of the German Ice Hockey League.

Contrary to most ice hockey players, Murphy did not start playing when he was still very young. His career pretty much started when he entered college, at the time he was a part of the Michigan Technological University where he played for four years. Fresh out of college, Murphy joined the Toronto Marlies and even the Portland Pirates before joining the DEL or Deutsche Eishockey Liga.
