Sasha Pokulok
Sasha Pokulok is a professional ice hockey player of Canadian descent who was born on May 25, 1986 in Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec. Pokulok is best known for being an active defender of the DEG Metro Stars since 2010.
Pokulok’s professional playing career started when he was selected to play for the Notre Dame Hounds in 2003. He stayed with the club for just a year before he went on to play with Cornell University, as a member of the university varsity team. After 2 years with the team, Pokulok was signed by the Hershey Bears and even played with the South Carolina Stingrays as well.
In 2005, Pokulok was drafted during the Washington Capitals during the NHL Entry draft – first round. However, Pokulok never did get to play with the Capitals but he played with the Bakersfield Condors before he joined the DEG Metro Stars in 2010.
