Evan Kaufmann

Evan Kaufmann is a German-American professional ice hockey player who has been with the DEG Metro Stars of the German Ice Hockey League since 2008. Kaufmann was born on October 31, 1984 in Plymouth, Minnesota, United States, and started his professional career there.

Kaufmann was already actively playing ice hockey in 2003 when he was a part of the U.S. Junior League a subcategory of the United States Hockey League. At the time, he was a part of the River City Lancers, but he stayed with the team for only a year. He was then a part of the University of Minnesota’s varsity team for eight years from 2004 to 2008 until he finished his college education. At the time, he was also a part of the NCAA for ice hockey.

It was only in 2008 that Kaufmann was signed by DEG Metro Stars, and has been playing with the team since then.
