Connor James is a professional Canadian ice hockey player who is best known for being one of the players in the DEG metro Stars, a club in the Deutschen Eishockey Liga, also known as the German ice hockey league. James was born on August 25, 1982 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and has been playing ice hockey since 1999.

James started playing ice hockey back in his hometown, playing for the Calgary Royals. During the said year, he was an active player of the Alberta Junior Hockey League, and after a year with the Royals, James pursued his academics at the University of Denver, where he soon played for the university’s varsity team. During his four years with the University of Denver, James was drafted during the NHL Entry draft in 2002, and was chosen by the Los Angeles Kings.

Over the years, James has played with other big ice hockey clubs such as the Manchester Monarchs, Scranton Penguins, and the Augsburger Panthers.
