Aleksandr Islamov

Aleksandr Islamov is a Russian forward on Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.

Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk is the only KHL team Islamov has ever played for, although he began his career in the Second League with Yuzhny Ural Orsk-2. He had 18 points in his first season with the club, and set a career high with 13 goals and 25 points in 2006-07, while playing with Neftyanik Leninogorsk in the Second League. That season earned him a roster spot on Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, and he had 5 points and 30 penalty minutes in his rookie Super League season.
