Andrei Ivanov
Andrei Ivanov is a Russian forward on Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.
Ivanov began his career with SKA St. Petersburg’s minor league system in 1998, and played most of the next nine seasons in the Second League and Belarusian professional league. He did make his Super League debut with SKA St. Petersburg in 2000, and played with the club a number of times of the years, before being relegated to Spartak St. Petersburg for an extended period of time in 2003. He had 21 goals and 41 points, as well as 70 penalty minutes in his first full season with the team. In 2006, after starting the season with Gomel in Belarus, he joined Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, and finally proved he could play well at the senior level. He had 10 goals in his first full season with the club, and set a career high with 22 goals and 34 points in 56 games during the 2009-10 season.
