Nikita Schitov

Nikita Schitov is a Russian forward on Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.

Schitov played the first three seasons of his career in the Russian Second and Third Leagues before making his Super League debut with Salavat Yulaev Ufa in 2005-06. He had 4 points and 26 penalty minuets during 26 games that season, but was sent back down to Salavat Yulaev Ufa-2 the next season. He spent 2007-08 on Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, scoring 3 points in his first full season at the senior level. He then played three seasons with Spartak Moscow, where he had a breakout season in 2008-09, scoring 4 goals and 14 points, as well as a career high 56 penalty minutes. He set a career high with 15 points the next year, but was traded to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk midway through the 2010-11 season.
