Maris Jass

Maris Jass is a Latvian defenseman on Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.

Jass played most of his career in Latvian and Belarusian professional leagues, putting in time with Metalurgs Liepaja. He made his Super League debut with Lada Togliatti during the 2005-06 season, appearing in 14 games and recording 14 penalty minutes. The next season he played with HC Slavia Prague, tallying 59 penalty minutes in 33 games. He would return to Russia with Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in 2010.
