Renat Mamashev is a Russian defenseman on Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.
Mamashev had an impressive season in the WHL during 2000-01, notching 17 points and 63 penalty minutes with the Moose Jaw Warriors. He returned to Russia the next season and played the next four years in the Russian Second and Third Leagues. He had a career year in 2005-06, scoring 8 goals and 34 points, as well as 65 penalty minutes. He made his Super League debut with Dynamo Moscow in 2006, and had 20 points and 82 penalty minutes in his first season with the club. He was traded to Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in 2007, and set a career high with 87 penalty minutes while playing with the team in 2008-09. He was traded to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk early in the 2009-10 season, and has remained with the club since.
