Andrei Smirnov

Andrei Smirnov is a Russian center on Metallurg Novokuznetsk.

Smirnov began his career in the Severstal Cherepovets system, where he played a season in the Russian Third league before making his KHL debut in 2009. He was traded to Metallurg Novokuznetsk, where he played most of the season in the KHL, the first year he played more in the KHL than the MHL or another minor league.
