Zakhar Arzamastsev is a Russian defenseman on Metallurg Novokuznetsk.
Arzamastsev earned his first shot at KHL action with a strong season in the MHL during 2009-10. He had 6 goals and 12 points, as well as 42 penalty minutes in 31 games for Kuznetskie Medvedi, and was called up for 21 games in the KHL. He was kept with the senior club for the 2010-11 season.
Arzamastsev was a member of the 2009 Russian U17 team, as well as the 2010 U18 team, competing in both year’s World Juniors.
