Aleksandr Shin

Aleksandr Shin is a Kazakh forward on Barys Astana.

Shin played six seasons with Torpedo Ust-Kamenogorsk, his hometown team, before making his KHL debut with Barys Astana. He had the best season of his career with Ust-Kamenogorsk in 2008-09, scoring 12 goals and 36 points, as well as 26 penalty minutes. He joined Barys Astana in 2009, and had 10 points in his first season in the KHL.

Shin played for Kazakhstan at the 2010 World Championships.
