Lukas Kaspar

Lukas Kaspar is a Czech winger on Barys Astana.

Kaspar was drafted 22nd overall by the San Jose Sharks in 2004 after an impressive junior career in the Czech junior leagues. He had 35 goals, 76 points and 143 penalty minutes with HC Litvinov in 2001-02, and came to North America in 2004 to play in the OHL. He made his NHL debut with the Sharks in 2008, but played only 16 career NHL games over two seasons before returning to Europe with Karpat in Finlan in 2009. He signed with Barys Astana in 2010, and became one of the team's premier scorers.
