Alexei Ishmametiev

Alexei Ishmametiev is a Russian defenseman on Barys Astana.

Ishmametiev made his Super League debut with HC MVD in 2007-08, after playing a number of seasons in the Russian Third League. He played just nine games, though and spent the next few seasons in the Second League and MHL. He had 6 goals and 19 points, as well as 121 penalty minutes during the 2009-10 season, which earned him a tryout contract with Barys Astana for the 2010-11 season.
