Vitaly Koval
Vitaly Koval is a Russian-Belarusian goalie on HK Atlant.
Koval began his pro career in 2000, when he joined Molot-Prikamie Perm in the Russian Super League. He spent most of the next six seasons as the team's backup goalie, and opted to play three seasons in Belarus with Neman Grodno, where he was the unrivalled starter. He joined Dynamo Minsk in 2008, and saw much more playing time, posting a 2.67 GAA in 21 games during 2009-10. He joined HK Atlant in 2010, and had the best year of his career, posting a 2.12 GAA and .921 save percentage over his first 22 games.
Koval played for Belarus at the 2010 Winter Olympics.
