Ilya Gorokhov
Ilya Gorokhov is a Russian defenseman on HK Atlant.
Gorokhov was drafted in 1995 by the New York Rangers after playing three years in the Russian Third league with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl's minor league team. He joined the team's senior club the following season, and played the next five seasons with the team, although he did bounce up and down between the Super League and Second league a few times, and also played 9 games with Salavat Yulaev Ufa in 1998. He spent the 1999-2000 season with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod, but returned to Lokomotiv the forllowing year. He played a season withLada Togliatti in 2002-03, but was traded back to Yaroslavl midway through the year, and remained with the club for the next six year, making the playoffs in all six seasons. He won league titles with Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in 2002 and 2003, and had a career high 17 points in 2005-06. He was acquired by Salavat Yulaev Ufa in 2009, where he had 15 points and 24 penalty minutes in just 36 games, but was traded to HK Atlant the next season.
