Vadim Khomitsky

Vadim Khomistky is a Russian defenseman on HK Atlant.

Khomitsky was drafted in 2000 by the Dallas Stars, after playing his first full season of pro hockey in the Second and Third leagues. He joined CSKA Moscow in 2001, and posted 17 points and 57 penalty minutes in his first year with the club. He set a career high with 110 penalty minutes in 2005-06, and also had the best Super League season of his career that year, scoring 5 goals and 13 points. He spent parts of two seasons with the Iowa Stars, but joined HK Altant in 2006, and has been with the club ever since, helping the team reach the playoffs in each of the last four years.
