Evgeni Nurislamov
Evgeni Nurislamov is a Russian defenseman on HK Atlant.
Nurislamov played three years of junior hockey in the QMJHL before getting a shot at playing semi-pro in the AHL and ECHL. He never played well enough to earn himself a spot on an NHL team, and decided to return to Russia midway through the 2005-06 season, joining Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk. He played two more seasons with the team, posting 14 points and 111 penalty minutes with the club in 2007-08. He was acquired by Lokomotiv Yaroslavl the following year, but saw limited ice time with the club and was traded to HK Atlant in the 2010 offseason.
