Jaroslav Obsut
Jaroslav Obsut is a Slovakian defenseman on HK Atlant.
Obsut was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in 1995, after posting 51 points and 126 penalty minutes in his first season of play in the SJHL. He played a number of seasons in the AHL, IHL and ECHL before making his NHL debut with the St. Louis Blues in 2000. He played only four games wih the team, followed by three games with Colorado the following year before concluding his NHL career. He spent the next five years playing for Lulea in the Elitserien, where he posted a career high 11 goals and 32 points in 2006-07. He made his KHL debut with Spartak Moscow in 2009, scoring 23 points and 88 penalty minutes that year, but was traded to HK Atlant early in the 2010-11 season.
Obsut played for Slovakia at the 2002 Olympic Games.
