Pavel Trakhanov

Pavel Trakhanov is a Russian defenseman on HK Atlant.

Trakhanov began his career with CSKA Moscow in 1997, where he played the next eight seasons. He helped the club make the playoffs in back to back seasons in 1999 and 2000, but did not develop into the player that he is today until being traded from Moscow. He spent two seasons with Severstal Cherepovets, where he set a career high with 16 points in 2006-07. He then played three seasons with HC MVD, where he had a career year in 2009-10, notching 16 points and 72 penalty minutes, helping the club make a deep run into the KHL playoffs. He was traded to HK Atlant during the 2010 offseason.
