Dany Sabourin
Dany Sabourin is a Canadian goalie for the Boston Bruins.
Sabourin was drafted by the Calgary Flames in 1998. He has been a backup goalie for his entire career so far, and was moved to Pittsburgh after playing only 4 games for Calgary. He was picked up off waivers by Vancouver in 2006, where he recorded his first career victory and his first playoff appearance. Pittsburgh re-signed Sabourin in 2007. He won ten games in 24 appearances, with a GAA of 2.75. In 2008-09, Sabourin appeared in 19 games for the Pens, posting a 2.85 GAA and a .898 save percentage while winning 6 games. At the trade deadline, he was traded to Edmonton, but never played for the Oilers. Instead, he finished the season in the AHL and became a free agent. He was signed by Boston to backup Tim Thomas during the 2009 offseason.
