Valeri Pokrovsky
Valeri Pokrovsky is a Russian defenseman on Amur Khabarovsk.
Pokrovsky began his career with SKA St. Petersburg in 1997, and recorded 16 penalty minutes in 35 games during his rookie year. He played three years with the club before joining Avangard Omsk in 2002. He played the next two years with the team before being dealt to CSKA Moscow in 2003. He returned to SKA St. Petersburg the following season, and played the next six seasons with the team. He had a career year during the NHL lockout, scoring 14 points and 84 penalty minutes, both career highs. He was traded to Spartak Moscow in 2009, and played two years with the club before signing with Amur Khabarovsk in 2010.
