Aleksei Kopeikin

Aleksei Kopeikin is a Russian forward on Amur Khabarovsk.

Kopeikin actually began his pro Russian career with Amur Khabarovsk in 2000, when he played in two games iwth the club in a brief call-up. He spent the next four seasons in the club's system, splitting time between the Russian Super League and the Third League. He had 16 goals and 28 points with the team's senior club in 2004-05, when it was demoted to the Second League. He played the next year with Spartak Moscow, and then joined Sibir Novosibirsk for two seasons. He had a couple good seasons with the team, finishing with 52 points in 110 games with the club. He began the 2008-09 year with Avangard Omsk, but was traded back to his original club midway through the year. He had a career year in 2009-10, scoring 29 points while serving as the team's captain. He was reduced to an assistant captain for the 2010-11 season.
