Kristaps Sotnieks
LatviaKristaps Sotnieks is a Latvian defenseman on Dinamo Riga.
Sotnieks has played most of his career in Latvia with HK Riga 2000, where he put up 11 points and 71 penalty minutes in 2006-07. He signed with Dinamo Riga when the club joined the newly-formed KHL in 2008, and had 34 penalty minutes in his first season of senior play in the Russian professional league.
