Krisjanis Redlihs
Krisjanis Redlihs is a Latvian defenseman on Dinamo Riga.
The older brother of teammate Jekabs, Redlihs was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in 2002, after playing three seasons in the Latvian professional leagues. He then spent the next four years in the AHL with the Albany River Rats, where he played pretty well. He put up 3 goals and 24 points in 2005-06, but after not being called up to the Devils, he decided to return to Europe for the 2006-07 season. He played that year with Amur Khabarovsk in the Super League, and spent most of the next season in Germany with the Hamburg Freezers, although he did appear in 9 games with Linkopings HC in Sweden. He signed with Dinamo Riga in 2008, and had 10 points in his first full season of play in the KHL.
