Sergei Sheleg

Sergei Sheleg is a Belarusian defenseman on Dynamo Minsk.

Sheleg had a solid junior career with Junior Minsk, scoring 53 points and 193 penalty minutes over the course of two seasons between 2006 and 2008. He spent 2008-09 with the Sudbury Wolves in the OHL, accumulating 15 points and 29 penalty minutes, but returned to Belarus in 2009, where he spent a year with Yunost Minsk. He signed a tryout contract with Dynamo Minsk, and was impressive enough to maintain a spot on the team for the 2010-11 season.
