Robert Esche is an American goalie on Dynamo Minsk.

Esche was drafted by the Phoenix Coyotes in 1996, and played another two seasons in the OHL before joining the Coyotes in 1998. He saw very little playing time with the Coyotes until 2000, when he played in 25 games. He was traded to Philadelphia in 2002, and saw his playing time increase. He played in 40 games for the Flyers in 2003-04, recording a 2.04 GAA and helping the Flyers reach the Eastern Conference Finals. He played two more years with the Flyers after the lockout, but was unable to remain competitive, putting up a poor 4.32 GAA and .872 save percentage in 2006-07. He signed with Ak Bars Kazan in 2007-08, and recorded a 1.86 GAA in his first season of play in Russia. He joined SKA St. Petersburg in 2008, and put up two solid seasons with the club before joining Dynamo Minsk in 2010.

Esche played for Team USA at the 1998 World Juniors, 2000, 2008 and 2009 World Championships, as well as the 2004 World Cup and 2006 Olympic Games.
